The daily dose of Prostax contains 500 mg saw palmetto extract, standardized to 85% fatty acids. The main active ingredients in saw palmetto are free fatty acids (e.g., lauric acid, oleic acid, myristic acid) and phytosterols, which act through several mechanisms. [01.]
